SAP SuccessFactors Consultant - Compensation & Variable Pay

As part of Effective Peoples growing HCM practice, the SuccessFactors Consultant will be responsible for implementing SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay products in SuccessFactors cloud for our customers. You will sculpt the design of the application and utilize the defined implementation process to meet the established implementation milestones and targeted completion dates. You will work in a team environment, remotely and at customer sites, to implement and support SAP SuccessFactors products. This is a highly integral role to the success of implementations with our key customers across the region.




  • Successfully implement SuccessFactors Compensation and/or Variable Pay for customers following our prescribed methodology.
  • Facilitating workshops to identify requirements, documenting the requirements and developing prototypes to use to confirm requirements back to the customer.
  • Configuration of solutions, user acceptance testing support, deploy and release to production environment.
  • Consulting customers on industry specific features and system processes and procedures.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Implementation Consultants and customers and communicate project goals, updates and required tasks.
  • Recommend and provide industry best practices solutions.
  • You will be required to work with and present to key stakeholders, articulating technical components in a non-technical manner.
  • Provide significant transfer of SuccessFactors product knowledge to SuccessFactors customers.




  • Certified in SF Compensation and SF Variable Pay.
  • Practical experience with SuccessFactors Variable Pay is a must.
  • Minimum 2 end-2-end implementations of SF Compensation as lead consultant.
  • Minimum 2 end-2-end implementations of SF Variable Pay as lead consultant.
  • Broad technical knowledge and a desire to learn is a must.
  • Demonstrate strong communication/consulting skills – written and verbal English (internal and external facing)
  • Proven ability to identify and translate requirements into working solutions.
  • Experience with implementation of other SF modules is an added value qualification.
  • Flexible work schedule to accommodate working with customers and colleagues in multiple time zones.
  • Solid interpersonal skills to interface with co-workers and customers.
  • Ability to manage specific tasks to completion with minimal direction.
  • Ability to collaborate with clients, identify engagement follow-on opportunities, and have a strong desire to excel.
  • Experience with, and desire to manage a team would be a great addition.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
